Pam Tucker is a Registered Nurse at RiverMend Health Center of Atlanta. She conducts intake assessments, educates patients and families about addiction treatment and recovery, and provides medication management and other patient care in the intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization programs.
Pam has over 35 years of experience working as a nurse for patients with drug and alcohol addictions and psychiatric disorders. Pam graduated from Georgia Baptist School of Nursing in Atlanta and later received a BA in Health Arts from the College of St. Francis. Pam spent the majority of her career at Ridgeview Institute. She has over 30 years of experience working with adolescents, young adults, adults, and professionals in outpatient addiction and psychiatric programs. She was the nurse manager of outpatient services at Ridgeview Institute for the last 20 years and managed nursing care for as many as 100 patients a day. She also provided nursing supervision for Ridgeview’s adult recovery residence.
Pam enjoys providing compassionate, individualized care to patients, and seeing the transformation that takes place when substance use and psychiatric disorders are effectively treated.
